Mr. Green began his career in environmental consulting after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1994.  His consulting experience includes supervision of assessment and remediation projects associated with contaminated soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sites.  These assessment and mitigation operations have been conducted at gas stations, dry cleaners, bulk oil and fuel distribution centers, oil fields, agricultural redevelopment properties, and other industrial properties.  He has successfully overseen projects from release discovery, assessment/characterization of contamination, mitigation design and implementation, and ultimately regulatory agency release case closure.   He has designed and overseen the installation of groundwater pump-and-treat remediation systems, soil vapor extraction systems, air sparging systems, dual phase extraction systems, and in-situ injection systems.  Mr. Green is also experienced in using computer models to predict the fate and transport of contaminants in the environment and in conducting health risk evaluations associated with vapor intrusion into indoor air.  

Mr. Green has conducted assessments for real estate transactions, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, and Transaction Screen Assessments (TSAs), at more than 500 properties over the past 25+ years.    He has performed these environmental assessment and mitigation operations at sites throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, Florida and Georgia, and is experienced in interfacing with clients and regulatory agencies.  Mr. Green’s education and work experience meets and exceeds the requirements of an Environmental Professional as defined by ASTM Standard Practice E1527-13.
